Is your property listing ready?

At Hart & Co. we are committed to helping our home owners unleash their property’s full potential by using key property listing strategies. We are experts in making all properties appear beautiful and desirable, however our stellar photography and videography skills can only take us so far. We need your help as a homeowner/landowner to get your property to optimum listing potential.

Here is a simple checklist for getting your HOME ready to list:

  • Top to bottom clean – from dusty ceiling fans and cobwebs to floors.
  • Cut your lawn and clean up the yard – curb appeal is key.
  • Refresh your walls – a fresh coat of paint would be best, but simply wiping scuffs and handprints off your walls and skirtings can work wonders.
  • De-clutter – less is always more when it comes to home décor.
  • Stage your beds – a well-made bed or at the very least a simple mattress cover will make all the difference.
  • De-personalize – remove all personal effects from view including framed photos and religious items. Although professional staging isn’t popular across the board in Trinidad, we recommend some simple effective staging. “What you’re giving them is a glimpse of how the home could be lived in, not how the home is being lived in at thetime.”
  • Open all window treatments – we want as much natural light flooding in as possible.
  • Provide access to all rooms – we want to list the property fully and have access to all rooms, even if we do not advertise photos of all rooms.
  • Secure your pets – this will allow us to move freely through the property without distractions.

Here is a simple checklist for getting your LAND ready to list:

  • Cut and clear your land
  • Ensure that the boundaries are well defined with stakes
